On Site services
We respond to on site and emergency call outs 24 hours a day, and we turn up ready to work. Our engineers carry common spare parts and have ready access day and night to resources needed to get production running again. We fault find on al types of automation and can handle plc problems, robot problems, welding and machining difficulties, as well as sealant systems and control panels. Repair and Refurbishment
Of course we repair piston pumps, centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps and metering pumps, but we also repair spindles, bearings, shafts (including long length), gantries and hoses.
Reverse Engineering
Typically, you find the ideal product, use it for a while, want to buy another one and the company has gone out of business. We can reverse engineer and recompile many electronic, touch screen, plc and computer controlled devices, and we offer the complete package from electronic component level through to pneumatic and hydraulic parts and eventual metal work. It helps that we have our own specialist engineers with years of experience with Marconi, GKN, Gerneal Motors and HM forces.
Fabrication
Do you feel that once upon a time there were fabricators around who could make almost anything without too much effort, but they are impossible to find? As more and more manufacturing moves abroad this valuable skillset is being lost, and we are determined to keep ours intact. Let us quote you for manufacturing stands, clamps, jigs and fixtures, in fact any fabrication we can. We are good on price, but the best on quality.
Cad/Cam
We have a full CAD/ CAM and robcad facility.
CNC Machining
We can do small volume and medium volume CNC machine projects to incredible detail. Our seamless production means we can do simple operations or multistage CNC programmes to produce perfect parts.
Sealant systems service and diagnostics
Often the components of a sealant system work flawlessly, but the whole system seems to break down or go into fault on a repetitive basis for reasons which are hard to understand. We have many years of experience with turbulent flow sealants, thixotropic materials, 2 component systems and moisture curing adhesives. By understanding the materials, we are better able to diagnose persistent problems or repetitive faults, and often have access to background controls and “black box” passwords for sealant controllers from SCA, Graco and Ingersoll Rand.
Pump service
We carry spare parts and seal kits for most major brands of piston pump and diaphragm pump. If you need Wilden or Blagden pump repairs we can offer this through our service portal. We just need to know the pump type and what materials you are pumping. If you are pumping Acetone, Ketones or epoxy resins, there is quite a difference in parts required and the sealing materials to those in a standard pump. Piston pumps with PTFE seals, Viton seals, Viton O-rings and UHMWPE throat packings are fairly common and we are able to deal with all hazardous waste generated in accordance with ISO14001
Valve service
We can service a basic on and off needle valve, we can refurbish seats and tips, we can change soft seats to Tungsten Carbide all as standard. In addition we offer valve set up and calibration in line with the German TUV standard where metering accuracy is very important. This means that after we service a valve, we can pump 10000 litres of fluid through it and test by weight and volume for closing accuracy. We repair butterfly valves from Joucomatic, Schneider and Charvo, and have all the facilities needed for repairing SCA equipment too..
Automation & robot programming
Automation was once the preserve of the big players with millions to spend on equipment. Now it has become much more standardised, with robots and conveyors from Fanuc, Kuka, Motorman and ABB at off the shelf prices and grippers and handlers based on modular designs. Our expertise in cycle time realisation and cell build and integration doesn’t come with the premium price of other automation experts. We are experts in PLC, Siemens Step 7, ABB, Kuka and Fanuc integration. We find innovative ways to reduce costs and provide the production facilities you need.
Electronics repair and rapid prototyping
We have an in-house repair and diagnosis service for electronic components down to board level. We provide equipment to MacDonald Humfrey and other automation houses via our sister company Multibug, and we can take on small and medium sized development projects including PIC microprocessors and controls, software development and hardware design
